Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Franklin Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Sanitary Sewer (Gravity), Paving (Asphalt or Concrete), Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Sitework/Excavating and Grading, Grade and Surface, Landscaping, Stormwater Improvements, Paving (Highway, Road or Street) 10500 GRAND AVENUE REDEVELOPMENT - PHASE II includes site demolition, approximately 1,100LF of various sized sanitary and storm sewer installation, 13 manholes and catch basins, 265 tons of asphalt roadway paving, 835 LF of concrete curb and gutter, 2,354 SF of sidewalk, and 613 SY of topsoil and sod. Bid Security in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in the form of bid bond, cash, certified check, cashier's check, or draft payable to The Village of Franklin Park. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish either both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit acceptable to the Village for 100 percent of the Contract Price, in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or award each schedule individually, to waive any informalities or technicalities in bidding, and to accept the Bid which best serves the interests of the Village. The Village shall, in its sole discretion, determine what does or does not constitute an informality or technicality, and, in submitting a Bid, the Bidder agrees to be bound by that determination.
