Districts 1, 3, and 8 Turnback Inventory Assessment MnDOT requests responses for the development of an inventory assessment of State maintained roadways, or road segments thereof, within the State Districts 1, 3, and 8 that may be available for Turnback by the State to a Local Government Unit (LGU). The goal of this project is to structure, assess and develop a plan to address potential Turnback roadway segments within State Districts 1, 3, and 8 to ensure that ownership, maintenance, and function are aligned. This RFP does not obligate MnDOT to award a contract or complete the project, and MnDOT reserves the right to cancel the RFP if it is considered to be in its best interest. Responses to this RFP will be public information under the Minnesota Data Practices Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13 Responders are encouraged to propose additional tasks or activities if they will substantially improve the results of the project. These items should be separated from the required items on the cost proposal. Anticipated Term The term of this contract is anticipated to run from Contract Execution to June of 2024.
