Site work for a water / sewer project in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 2500 feet of sanitary sewer line along State Ave. Work includes a combination of trenchless and trenched installation. Work also includes supplying and installing several manholes. Project Information: Substantial Completion: 120 Days (Approximately July 21, 2023) Final Completion: 180 Days (Approximately September 19, 2023) Bid Estimate: $730,000.00 Bids shall be secured only by bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash deposit in an amount of at least five percent of the bid. Simultaneously with the delivery of the executed Contract, the CONSTRUCTOR shall furnish a performance and payment surety bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum as security for faithful performance of the Contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials for the work, or pursuant to Institution Requirements, evidence of eligibility for waiver of the bond requirements.
