Demolition, site work and addition to a parking garage in Waterfall, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a parking garage; parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.
This project provides for the construction of expanded truck parking with concrete pavement, signage, and lighting. Work will also include car and bus parking expansion, trailhead, concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb ramps, concrete barrier, gate removal/replacement, lighting upgrades, drainage and basins, and relocation of Farmer's Market Pavilion and above ground propane storage tanks. A new stormwater collection and conveyance system including inlets, piping and pavement base drains will connect to the new drainage basins. The existing employee parking area will be repaved. Work items include, but are not limited to: 79,831 CY Excavation, Various Classes 22,817 TON Superpave Asphalt Mixture, Various Courses 82,482 SY Subbase, (No. 2A), 6" Depth 21,678 SY Milling of Asphalt Pavement, 2" Depth 51,056 SY Plain Cement Concrete Pavement, Various Depths 82 EA Inlets, Various Conditions 3,579 LF Pipes, Various Types and Diameters 5,336 LF Concrete Barrier 1,112.5 LF Guide Rail, Type 31-S 2,042 LF Right-Of-Way Fence, Type 1 50 EA Light Poles, Various Types (New and Relocated) Milepost 172.27 is located at the Sideling Hill Service Plaza in Fulton County, Pennsylvania. A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project.
