As of July 10, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. NOTE: The Council of the City of York have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of the City of York. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the City of York in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/8/2023 5:00 PM Bidders are required to be PennDOT prequalified, as specified in Publication 408, Section 102.01. Bidders are required to obtain PennDOT prequalification for the construction of work code S1 structures as classified in 67 A Code Chapter 457.5 prior to the bid opening date. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247. The Contract Time for this project is one hundred fifty (150) calendar days. All onsite activities at Bridge 359 must take place after August 15th due to the potential impact to endangered species, as required by the Pennsylvania Game Commission. The Council of the City of York reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
