Battelle Memorial Institute (Battelle), in connection with Battelle's operation and maintenance of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in Sequim, Washington has need for demolition of an existing perchloric acid hood, exhaust fan, and associated ductwork and electrical; and installation of new Battelle-Furnished Contractor Installed (BFCI) acid hood and exhaust fan with associated ductwork, plumbing, controls and electrical. Location: 1529 West Sequim Bay Road, Sequim, WA 98382 The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence Work under this Contract As Soon As Possible after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed, (b) prosecute the Work diligently, and (c) complete the entire Work ready for use not later than 140 days after Notice of Award. It is anticipated that the successful contractor will receive the Award on or around March 9, 2023 Prime Contractor shall be pre-qualified in order to propose on this effort; likewise, Subcontractors to a Prime Contractor performing work shall be prequalified prior to issuance of the NTP. Note - An Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of less than or equal to 0.9 for Prime Contractor (1.0 for Subcontractors) and no willful OSHA/State Labor & Industries Citations over the past three years is needed to meet the pre-qualification requirement.
