Reservoir Exterior Recoating This contract calls for complete removal and recoating ofthe exterior coating ofthe existing 1.7-million-gallon welded steel reservoir located at 551 W Reservoir Road, as well as the spot priming and overcoating of the existing 1.0- million-gallon welded steel reservoir located on Tamerlane Loop at the southeast, ofthe City. The work for both reservoirs shall include, but not be limited to, removing of existing failing coating, surface preparation, protection of the existing potable water in the reservoir (both will remain in service at all times), protection of surrounding areas, coating and testing each layer of the tank according to specifications, and cleanup. The 1.7-million-gallon reservoir wall require full containment and temporary venting of the reservoir. The Engineer's Estimate including all applicable sales tax is $360,000 to $400,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bid Proposals are to be submitted only on the Proposal Form provided to registered planholders who are licensed contractors per RCW Chapter 18.27. All Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond payable to the 'City of Sequim'' and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The basis for determining the lowest and responsive bidder will be the resulting Total Bid Amount identified on the Proposal Form. The City of Sequim expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities as it best serves the interest of the City The undersigned has examined the Work site(s), local conditions, the Contract, and all applicable laws and regulations covering the Work. The following unit and lump sum prices are tendered as an offer to perform the Work in accordance with all of the requirements set forth in the Contract and all applicable laws and regulations.
