As of March 3, 2023, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. No definite date for the rebid. Bids will be reviewed by the Engineer and the successful low bid Contractor will be awarded at the Jamestown Town Council meeting on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 at 7:00pm. Project consists of gravity sanitary sewer and HDPE water main. Approximate quantities of various major pay items are approximately: 600 feet of 8" sdr-35 PVC 2 - 48" dia. Sanitary manholes 250 feet of 12" SDR 11 HDPE Casing pipe 800 feet of 6" SDR 11 HDPE Water pipe Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at Jamestown Town Hall on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Upon Issuing Offices receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidders delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A pre-Bid conference will not be held.
