The City of Rensselaer, Indiana will receive bids for the 2023 Mill, Patch, and Resurface Roadway Maintenance Project in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule and Specifications. The work shall consist of removal of failed asphalt, patching with full depth HMA, milling, sweeping, application of tack coat, HMA wedging, installation of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement surface, restoration of pavement markings, and all other work necessary to repair existing pavement as included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for the 2023 Mill, Patch, and Resurface contract documents. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City of Rensselaer, Indiana. The Bidder (proposer) must supply all information required by the bid proposal form. Liquidated damages for delay will be as provided in the Bid Proposal. Work hours will be as provided in the technical specifications. Partial payment will be made monthly based on an approved payment requisition. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity.
