The city of artesia, california (the city) is seeking a consultant (or team of consultants) to respond to this request for proposals to create the artesia downtown specific plan (the plan). The city will be the location of the west santa ana branch (wsab) light-rail lines southern terminus stop, with a station and the lines only multi-story parking garage to be located prominently in the citys downtown. The northern portion of the plan area is bounded by corby and alburtis avenues to the west, just south of 180th street to the north, arline avenue to the east, and approximately 188th street to the south. The southern portion of the plan area is bounded to the north by 188th street and pioneer boulevard, including the properties to the immediate south of the intersection, to south street. All existing commercially zoned land in this area, including along south street to the border with the city of cerritos to the east and west boundaries, are included.
