Renovation of an educational facility in Camarillo, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Question Deadline 03/07/2023 at 4:00 PM PT Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, as set forth in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be allowed to substitute securities or establish an escrow in lieu of retainage, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, and as described in the Agreement Between Owner and Contractor and General Conditions. Contract Time shall be forty-five (45) calendar days Liquidated damages :- Accordingly, the parties agree that the amount herein set forth shall be the amount of damages which the Owner shall directly incur upon failure of the Contractor to Complete the Work within the Contract Time: $ 1500.00, for each calendar day by which Completion of the Work is delayed beyond the Contract Time as adjusted by Change Orders.
