No definite date for the rebid.** Banta Unified School District is soliciting qualified contractors to provide proposals and services for a solar installation at the Banta Elementary School. Interested parties are required to submit a response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) to the Banta Unified School District to be considered for this work. All RFPs received by the specified deadline will be reviewed by the Banta Unified School District staff and consulting team. Those selected for further consideration will be notified. The District desires this system be interconnected to PG&E under the terms of Net Energy Metering (NEM) 2.0 rules, which are set to be replaced by NEM 3.0 on April 13, 2023. The selected Contractor will be required to submit a complete interconnection agreement to PG&E, including signed contract, single line diagram and all other required documents, prior to the NEM 2.0 sunset date of April 13, 2023 to ensure this project is grandfathered in. The carport system should include LED lighting on the underside of the carport structure which complies with all applicable codes such as CA Title 24.
