Court resurfacing at Coal Mountain Park and changing Tennis Courts to Pickleball Courts Project Questions Deadline: 3/7/23 at 12:00 PM The Contractor will be responsible to provide all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the following: o Clean all necessary areas. o Remove nets and posts and fill holes to turn tennis courts into pickleball courts (two tennis courts will be replaced by four (4) pickleball) o Fill all structural cracks with crack filler. o Multi-layered crack repair system will be installed for cracks of all sizes when possible. Hairline cracks will receive fiberglass filler. o Fill all birdbath areas and sunken paving joints with acrylic patch binder. o Apply three (3) coats of acrylic color coating to the entire surface area. o Apply one (1) coat of primer and two (2) coats of textured white line paint to form 4 pickleball courts. o Install new pickleball nets. o Remove all excess materials and debris from job site. o Paint color same as existing. o Five year warranty on all cracks filler is applied to. Should any areas fail, the cracks must be re-done and re-color coated. o Binder is to be used at the bottom of the fencing. o The entire area of the pickleball courts is to be flat and level once resurfacing is complete. o There are to be three (3) references submitted with the bid where the proposed filler brand was used. o Required crack filler brands: Right Way, Armor, Guardian. o Required Pickleball net brand: Pickleball Central Heavy-Duty Post & 31 inch high nets (or equal). There is approximately 100 LF of surface cracks. It is the Contractor's responsibility to verify all measurements.
