City of Cumming Water Distribution & Collection Division Request for Proposal City of Cumming Water Distribution & Collection Division is requesting proposals to secure an erosion issue at our facility located at 1835 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming GA 30040. Submittals should be proposed on Design/Build. Only licensed, insured and qualified parties with references need to submit. Any questions regarding the project, please contact Tim Day, Superintendent at tday@cummingutilities.com or 770-781-2035. Proposals are legal and binding upon submission. All proposals to be submitted in duplicate. The issue at hand is a slope approximately 385 linear feet. It may need to be divided into two different sections, with different approaches, as the grade and change of elevation differs. One section is approximately 150' and the other is approximately 235'. Both sections will need to be stabilized to prevent future erosion in a manner that will protect the existing infrastructure, and direct the water to an existing storm drain. City of Cumming Department of Utilities reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all proposals.
