This project is funded in whole or in part by a Federal grant and the awarded bidder must complete those regulations, as well as the City's contract documents and bid specifications. This project consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to convert an existing 6-foot diameter, 17-foot depth wet/dry pit lift station to a submersible pumping station. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment as described in the Contract Documents necessary to convert an existing 6-foot diameter, 17-foot depth wet pit/dry pit lift station to a submersible pumping station. Work includes, but is not limited to, installing new submersible pumps and appurtenances within the existing wet well; installing a new concrete slab with watertight hatch for above grade discharge piping & valve array; elevating the existing wet well top slab; demolishing the existing building; constructing a new concrete electrical & generator platform; and installing new generator and new pump station electrical & controls with weather- protected enclosure. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents. A Federal grant will fund this project in whole or in part, and the awarded bidder must comply with the provisions of Project 23FRP05 - Florida Department of Environmental Protection' s Office of Resilience and Coastal Protection Resilient Florida Program. Information regarding this grant and all Federal requirements are included within the Bid Specifications. The project site is at the following location in Duval County, Florida: Cavalla Road Lift Station, 858 Cavalla Road, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233. Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid A Performance and Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. Bid prices must remain valid for ninety (90) days after the public opening of the bids.
