Any questions or clarifications on the plans that may require a formal bid addendum must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on March 1 , 2023. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for major electrical and process control improvements, as well as general civil and structural improvements at six City pump station locations: Sunriver Drainage Pump Station (DPS), Citrus DPS, Mather Industrial DPS, Mills Tower DPS, West Coloma DPS, and Bear Hollow DPS. Various other items of work include Motor Control Centers; Programmable Logic Control Cabinets; process control system equipment panels and racks; sensors (ultrasonic level-transmitter, float level switches, intrusion switches); automatic transfer switches for standby generators; installation of conduit and cable; exterior lighting; pre-engineered metal canopies; ornamental metal fence and gates; concrete equipment foundations; slurry seal; pavement restoration; and other incidental work to be completed within the limits of work shown on the Plans. As set forth in Section 7-15 of the Standard Construction Specifications, the time for completion of this contract shall be ONE HUNDRED THIRTY (130) WORKING DAYS SEPARATED INTO MILESTONE A AND MILESTONE B. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Rancho Cordova, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the City of Rancho Cordova, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price (see attached Bid Form) No pre-bid conference will be held for this project.
