Question Deadline 04/23/2025 at 12:00 PM ET The project will repair significant erosion within the creek bed at this location and establish a grade control structure to prevent further downcutting and creek erosion. In addition, continued undermining of a sheet pile wall in a nearby storm water retention pond due to the creek's erosion will be addressed by implementing a nature-based solution. Overall, the project provides for long-term resiliency in the creek and the Royal Garden subdivision. Labor Wage Standards. Per Attachment 8, Page 5, of grant agreement 23FRP16 between the City and Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act do not apply because this project is funded with SLFRF and is less than $10 million e Contractor and any subcontractor responsible therefor shall be liable for the unpaid wages and interest from the date of the underpayment. In addition, such contractor and subcontractor shall be liable to the United States (in the case of work done under contract for the District of Columbia or a territory, to such District or to such territory), for liquidated damages Bidders shall furnish a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond, or certified treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, made payable to the City. The amount of such guaranty shall be at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price.Glen Springs Restoration to furnish the prescribed Performance and Payment Bond for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price; and to furnish the required evidence of the specified insurance. The City reserves the right to request additional data after the bid is opened and prior to the award. Failure to supply data necessary to properly evaluate a product will constitute sufficient reason for rejection of the bid.
