The Project work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment and appurtenances for the inspection of the Reading Area Water Authority's 60" and 6'-9" concrete conduits using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). The Authority will drain the conduits. Work must be completed between July 1 and October 9. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/27/2023 4:00 PM Qualified bidders shall be able to demonstrate directly relevant experience with large water pipe at water facilities. No pre-bid conference will be held for this project. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. The Reading Area Water Authority, Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
