Site work for a water / sewer project in Haw River, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work will include the following items: Installation of 2 EA - Metering Manholes with Trapezoidal Flume and Metering Equipment Minority Business Participation provisions are included in the Bid Documents. Consideration will be given only to bids of Contractors who submit evidence that they are licensed under "An Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting", ratified by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina on March 10, 1925, and as subsequently amended, when such Act is applicable. Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a deposit of cash or CERTIFIED CHECK on some bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the Proposal, said check to be made payable to the Town of Haw River. In lieu of the above cash or CERTIFIED CHECK, the bidder may execute a Bid Bond for the same amount. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities by order of the Town Council, Town of Haw River, North Carolina.
