Renovation of a fire / police facility in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project consists of interior renovations to the ground floor living and office spaces in the existing Barnard Fire Station. New spaces include hard-wall offices, a dedicated women's bunk room and locker room, an enlarged men's bunk room and locker room, and a combined kitchen-dining-lounge day room. Seven alternates for various improvements on the main level, in the basement, and on the second floor. New HVAC will be supplied to the renovated areas and a new electrical service and distribution will be included. The approximate construction start date will be March 20, 2023 with overall completion by December 30, 2023. Multiple Contract Project consisting of the following prime contracts: a. General Building Construction. b. Plumbing and Fire Protection Construction. c. Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Construction. d. Electrical Construction. This project will have Davis-Bacon or prevailing wage rates. This is a Capital Improvement project and sales tax on materials is to be carried in the bid.
