Site work for a water / sewer project in Westmoreland, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Westmoreland Water Replacement - Tindall Manor The Project includes the following Work: Installation of new 8" diameter water main, with valves, hydrants and water service improvements, within residential subdivision. Work also includes general site restoration and abandonment of existing water main. Questions or inquiries should be in writing and directed to Delta Engineers, 4873 NYS Rt. 5, Vernon, NY 13476. Daniel Faldzinski, PE Director of Civil Engineering Services, telephone 315-953- 4200, and email at dfaldzinski@delta-eas.com All questions must be received at least six (6) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form of a bid bond or certified check, made payable to the Town of Westmoreland. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45-days after the actual bid opening thereof, in accordance with the New York State General Municipal Law, Section 105. The bidders should not include in their bid Sales and Compensating Use Taxes on the cost of the materials which are to be incorporated in the Project and which are to be separately sold by the Bidder to the municipality prior to incorporation into the Project.
