Renovation of an educational facility in Westmoreland, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project includes a Roofing Construction Contract for work at the Jr/Sr High School for the Westmoreland Central School District Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check payable to Westmoreland Central School District in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Proposal. Bid Bonds shall be a fully executed AIA Document A310 (copy attached), or equivalent Bid Bond. The successful Contractor shall deliver to the Owner prior to the execution of the Contract, Bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract, and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount with such sureties secured through the Bidder's usual sources as may be agreeable to the parties. The premiums for such Bonds shall be paid by the Contractor. No Formal Pre-Bid Conference will be held. Bidders are encouraged to contact the District and arrange a site visit prior to bidding. The Board of Education, above named, reserves the right to waive any and all informalities and irregularities and reject any or all Bids.
