Renovation of a municipal facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Bids should be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope with the outside clearly marked with the name of the project and the name of the Bidder and should be addressed to: Brian R. Browning, Director of Facilities and Materials Management, Talbert House, 2600 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. The work will be performed under ONE contract with the Owner. G.C. to provide all construction documents required to permit and construct the project All questions requiring additional Information or clarification shall be submitted to Talbert House directly. Prevailing wage rates must be paid The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid and to reject any and/ all bids. The Owner shall, at its sole discretion, consider the qualifications of the bidders including the bidder's financial ability to complete the Contract, work history, safety record, and the qualifications and experience of the subcontractors, suppliers, and distributors. The Owner shall have the right to accept Alternates in any order or combination to determine the low Bidder based on the sum of the Base Bid and Alternates accepted. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid and reject any/all bids. No Bidder may modify, withdraw, or cancel his Bid for sixty (60) days from the actual time and date designated for the receipt of Bids *Demo: Removal of existing contents on interior. Including lower level windows, main door, and garage door *Electrical & Lighting: Install new service to building as the existing panel will not handle the new lower space renovation. *Provide electrical drawing and permit(s). Purchase and install materials needed to complete lower-level renovation. *Heating & Cooling: Provide HVAC drawing and permit(s). Purchase and install materials needed to complete lower-level renovation. *Plumbing: Purchase and install materials needed to complete lower-level renovation. Two new restrooms and relocation of hot water heater. *Acoustical Ceiling Tile: New 2 x 4 grid and ceiling pads. *Floor Coverings: Clean and prep existing concrete floor to receive new Luxury vinyl tile. Purchase and install LVT flooring *Purchase and install materials as needed to complete the layout. Framing, blocking and fire stop. *Purchase and install materials as needed and complete interior painting. *Windows & Trim: Purchase and install new windows in lower level. Patch over upper level existing window for curb appeal. *Doors & Trim: Purchase and install doors and frames as needed to complete interior. Purchase and install new entrance door at lower level with window. *Paving: Remove existing rear parking lot and install new asphalt parking lot. 8" gravel base and 3"asphalt and stripe as needed. Installed to drain from the building toward existing catch basins. Possible 10 parking spaces. *Foundation repair: Repair existing foundation of leaks into lower level *Purchase and install retractable curtain wall for conference room *Painting: Wash exterior of building, repair small hole, caulking as needed, prep and paint exterior if necessary. *Paint Interior with DTM paint Semi-gloss finish. *Purchase and install exterior metal siding panels to cover the entire exterior of the building. *Windows & Trim: Purchase and install new windows at front and sides of 1st floor. *Cleanup and hauling of construction debris CIN,
