For ADA Curb Ramp Install QUESTION DUE DATE: February 17, 2023 at 12:00 PM EST Questions related to this RFP should be sent to sspruill@townofmorrisville.org Project includes installation of ADA compliant Truncated Dome Pads at three existing ADA Curb Ramps, and installation of fifteen new ADA Curb Ramps at various locations within public rights-of-way within the Town. These locations are described in further detail in Appendix D. The work should include the removal of any spoils, debris, or other waste generated by the project. Backfill, grading, and seeding will be required at disturbed areas. Any asphalt removed shall be patched to the original thickness and provide a smooth transition to adjacent concrete. New sidewalk should be installed in accordance with NCDOT Standard Drawings, Division 08 Incidentals Part 2 084601 through 087604, Sheet 848.1. Removal should be conducted per NCDOT Specification Section 848, replacement of the sidewalk should be conducted per NCDOT Specification Section 825, dispose of waste and debris in per NCDOT Specification Section 802, remove unsuitable subgrade material and replace in accordance with NCDOT Specification Section 545, Curb Ramps should be replaced according to the details in Appendix A of this document. The Town of Morrisville reserves the right to reject any responses to this RFP that do not meet the selection criteria, to waive minor irregularities, and to conduct discussions with any or all respondents. The Town accepts no financial responsibility for any costs or expenses incurred by any entity in responding to this RFP. All submissions may be kept by the Town and may be disclosed to third parties at the Town's discretion.
