Site work for a civil project in Morrisville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work contemplated will include: Removing existing fence and installing a temporary fence, removing existing concrete next to wet well, digging approximately 16-17 feet to locate existing discharge line from pump station, install 8" bypass connection and valve, replace dirt and concrete, install fence, and pump and haul wastewater during construction. Questions concerning administrative matters should be directed to Hilda W. Williams, Senior Procurement Specialist at (919) 560-0054. Contractors who bid must be licensed to do work in the State of North Carolina under the Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting. The Contractor's North Carolina License number shall be designated on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.00. Bids will be evaluated and the Contract will be awarded in accordance with statutory public contract requirements as supplemented or altered by the Minority/Women Business Enterprise Utilization Ordinance of the County of Durham (MWBE). The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive informalities, and/or accept such bid as appears in its judgement to be in the best interest of the County Question Deadline 04/07/2023 at 3:00 PM ET
