Bids will be opened publicly and results will be given by the Owner upon notification of Award to the Successful Bidder. Contract shall consist of a professional service activity being bid under one prime Contract. Work performed on these projects will be subject to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 242, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4, Executive Order 11246, Section 3 of the Housing & Urban Development Act of 1968, and Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business Enterprises), hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that, in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantage business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this bid notice and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. It is a condition of the bidding process/contract that all responsible bidders/contractors shall follow the equal opportunity procedures set forth in specifications/contract. The Altoona Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
