Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for the construction of a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.

Items of work include approximately 11,240 ft. of sanitary sewer, two submersible pump lift stations, force main, 33,800 sq. yards of full roadway reconstruction, 1,200 feet of ductile iron water main, and all related work. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Oshtemo Charter Township reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of Oshtemo Charter Township. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. The de minimis and minor components waiver apply to this contract.
