This project has been awarded to Smith Line Striping and Seal Coating. This project will begin on June 9th 2023. Crack Fill all parking lots at Chesaning High School. This will include asphalt walkway on west end of stadium to the visitors bleachers area and the walkways to the baseball and softball field walkways. Crack Fill all cracks in all of the high school parking lots Crack Fill walkways on the west end of the stadium to visitor bleachers and walkways leading to the baseball and softball fields. Suggest contractor field measure cracks. Crackfill was completed once two years ago. Seal Coat all asphalt parking lots Seal Coat asphalt walkways on the west end of the stadium to visitor bleachers and walkways leading to the baseball and softball fields. Single coat on parking areas and walkways. Double coat on all drive lanes of all the parking lots. Crack Fill and Seal Coat Auto Shop storage area Paint all pavement per existing lines. For all proposals in the amount of $50,000 or more: Security may be a certified check, bank draft, irrevocable bank letter or credit or surety bond in the amount of 5% of the project price to secure the District from loss or damage by reason of withdrawal or by failure of the bidder to enter into a contract if the bid is accepted. All bidders must be bondable and shall include in the Proposal the cost of furnishing Labor and Material Payment and Performance Bonds each in the payable amount of 100% of the proposed bidding sum. The bonds shall hold Chesaning Union Schools as the obligation. A surety authorized by the State of Michigan must issue bonds. The surety must be listed on the current Federal Register.
