It is the intent of this "Invitation" to secure a Supplier(s) to furnish agricultural chemicals for the City of Allentown. The City of Allentown will begin to receive sealed bids online via website only. Submissions shall be opened electronically and publicly posted on website. Vendors must submit proposals online; those who fail to submit complete applications through website will not be considered for award. Submissions must include a scanned copy of the Bid Bond as stated above through website in the appropriate drop down. The Proposal Page must be completed and submitted through website. Other Forms must be completed and uploaded to website. Applicable Bid Security must be mailed and delivered prior to the Bid opening, in a clearly marked envelope with the bid number listed in this document, to the Purchasing Department. Each bid shall be accompanied by an original Bid Bond signed by a surety company, with original signatures, authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in the amount of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars or a Certified Check, a Bank Check, or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars. Questions Due (Date - Prevailing Time) March 23, 2023, 4:00 PM Email All Questions to website, by the aforementioned date. Questions regarding electronic submissions are welcome via email through Purchasing.Agent@allentownpa.gov. No faxed or emailed proposals will be accepted. Responses received after the prevailing date and time will be rejected as non-responsive.
