Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project will include replacement/repair of storm drainage facilities, mill and overlay of asphalt surface, other street improvements and signal upgrades within the project limits. Design will commence in 2026 with construction to begin in 2027. This project will receive CARS funding for construction. Engineering Consultants shall provide ALL necessary documents requested to be considered a complete submittal. Hard copies of the proposals shall be submitted to the City and uploaded to e-Builder website as indicated in the proposal documents. An officer of the firm making such proposal shall properly execute all forms (if applicable). RFQ submittals received after the time and date above specified shall not be considered. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
