Contract No. DPW 6-2023, TREE AND STUMP REMOVAL AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE TOWN OF ISLIP. ENTRANCE TO THE BUILDING FOR BOTH DROP OFF AND OPENING IS FROM THE MAIN ENTRANCE IN THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid and made payable to the Town of Islip.NO BID WILL BE ACCEPTED BY E-MAIL OR FACSIMILE. No responsibility shall attach to any person or persons for premature opening of bids not properly labeled or sealed. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or part, to waive any informality in any or all bids, and to accept the bid or part thereof which it deems most favorable to the Town. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after being publicly opened and read. In the event bids are rejected, or at least two (2) bids are not received, the Department of Purchasing is fully authorized to re-advertise for bids.
