The engineering and construction monitoring services that the Town may require for its paving projects include, but shall not be limited to, the following items: o Road reconstruction and resurfacing o Storm drainage design/drainage systems o Site survey/topography/survey layout o Utility connections/permitting, including subsurface o Sidewalk and curb design and inspection o Structural assessments o Construction monitoring o Cost estimates o Road Assessment o Right-of-Way Inspections and Evaluations o Bond Recommendations The Town is committed to providing all interested respondents with accurate and consistent information in order to ensure that no respondent obtains an undue competitive advantage. Responses to written questions will be in the form of written addenda and will be mailed or e-mailed to prospective respondents who provide the Town with the appropriate contact information. The Town of Islip ("Town") is in need of a consultant to provide engineering and construction monitoring services to oversee Town paving projects on an as-needed basis. The Town anticipates entering into a professional services agreement with the consultant that the Town determines is best qualified to perform the services. The length of this agreement shall be from date of execution to December 31, 2025. The agreement may be extended for an additional one (1) year period at the sole discretion of the Town. IF SUBMITTING A RFQ, IT MAY BE DROPPED OFF AT 401 MAIN STREET, ISLIP, NEW YORK 11751 IN THE CONTAINER LOCATED IN THE FRONT VESTIBULE OF THE MAIN ENTRANCE. THE TOWN OF ISLIP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO WAIVE ANY FORMALITY AND/OR INFORMALITY OR TO REJECT ANY OR ALL QUALIFICATION STATEMENTS WHEN IN THE OPINION OF THE TOWN BOARD, SUCH AN ACTION WILL BE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE TOWN.
