Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; medical facility; medical facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Bid Package 1 - Demolition, Shoring and Earthwork (bid date has been moved for Shoring & Earthwork) Jacobsen Construction Company, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor") has been selected by Division of Construction and Facilities Management, hereinafter referred to as "Owner", to be the Contractor for new construction of the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine - BP1 - Demolition, Shoring & Earthwork at the University of Utah, hereinafter referred to as the "Project". Contractor invites qualified trade contractors and vendors (hereinafter referred to as "Subcontractor") to submit bids for the applicable Work Scope. Please refer to individual Work Scopes for the extent of work. Scope 31B - Earthwork and Site Utilities will be procured using a Value Based Selection. All other scopes of work will be procured by low bid. See procurement process in the instructions to bidders for more information. Bids shall be clearly marked, identifying the Project, the specific Work Scope, and the name and address of the Subcontractor. If Subcontractor wishes to propose on more than one Work Scope, it may do so, but shall submit separate bid forms for each Work Scope. All bids are to be held firm for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. If the bid is not submitted on contractor's bid form, it may be rejected. The Owner and Contractor reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and/or technicalities, etc. This Project will be a part of a Subcontract Default Insurance (SDI) program. All Subcontractors submitting a bid for this Project must be currently enrolled in Contractor's prequalification program for their bids to be evaluated.
