The City of Levelland is seeking proposals to provide and install an Outdoor Warning System to replace our current system to cover the City of Levelland. Specifications for the desired system: o (7) Unidirectional Mechanical Siren o Steel & Aluminum build o 700hz tone peak o (3) distinct warning signal sounds o Steady, Wail, & Fast Wail o Siren Control cabinet hardware o DC powered with Solar panel kit o Must be 48V (4 battery system) o Must have 50-watt radio o Must have current sensors for Audio & Rotate o There must be a single control board which uses native 256BIT encrypted 2-way FSK. o All sirens shall be installed on Class 2 50ft Utility Poles. o Deep Cycle Batteries (minimum 2-year warranty) o Must be AC Delco M24/M24M680 o Status Monitoring system which uses native 256BIT encrypted 2-way FSK o Radios must be 50-watt and field programmable o Vendor must supply city emergency management with programming software and cable. o Digital Software Control Platform with cloud-based app for command and control o Control point must include a hardware encoder with 24 programmable hotkeys o Encoder must have Ethernet port for network-based control o Encoder must be compatible with two-tone, EAS, DTMF, and AFSK encoding. o Control point must include a 50-watt radio and power supply o All hardware, computer, encoders, radio shall be rack mountable o Cloud based app should have the ability to remotely activate sirens, send text messages and emails. o Cloud based app should have the ability to polygon activate sirens based on NWS tornado warnings. o Hardware and software must be first party and include first party support from manufacture and vendor.
