The City of Santa Clara ("City") is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors to provide pool replaster services at the Mary Gomez Pool, located at 651 Bucher Ave., Santa Clara, CA 95051, in support of the Department of Parks and Recreation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The Contractor (or principal) must meet the following minimum qualifications. Bids that fail to meet the minimum qualifications will be considered non-responsive and disqualified from further consideration. 1) Contractor must possess a valid State of California Contractor's License Class "C5 - Swimming Pool Contractor." 2) Contractor (including any subcontractors) must be registered with the Industrial Relations prior to submitting its bid, pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1725.5. Contractor shall have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the pool replastering industry. References shall be provided upon request. The scope of services includes replastering the pool surface, removal and replacement of attached equipment and materials that include ladders, drain covers and tile, and refilling the pool The department desires to have services commence within 5 days after issuance of purchase order. The City anticipates this to occur prior to April of 2023.
