Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bergenfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a road / highway.

Bergenfield High School Tennis Court Improvements Bergenfield Board of Education Bergen County, New Jersey . the Work to Be Performed Under This Contract Includes the Milling of the Top 2" +/- of Asphalt/acrylic Material, Addressing Any Reflective Cracking That Exists in the Asphalt Base Course and Resurfacing the Pavement Section Inclusive of a New Colored Acrylic Surface. Principal Items of Work in the Project Include: 2,900 S.y. Hma Milling, 3" or Less 450 Ton Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5m64 Surface Course 2,900 S.y. Acrylic Surface 4 Unit Tennis Net and Posts the Work Contemplated Under This Contract Shall Be Completed by August 4, 2023. No Work Shall Begin on-site Until After June 5, 2023, Unless Otherwise Authorized in Writing by the Owner. Areas Directly Outside of the Tennis Court Construction Limits Shall Remain Open to the Public. The Contractor is Responsible for Securing the Project Limits Throughout the Duration of Construction. The Contractor Shall Coordinate the Delivery of All Materials With the Start of Construction on-site. Each Bid Must Be Submitted on the Prescribed Forms, Furnished With the Contract Drawings and Specifications, Including the Non-collusion Affidavit and Ownership Statement Compliance Form, and Must Be Accompanied by the Consent of Surety and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond of Not Less Than Ten (10%) Percent of the Amount Bid and, Not to Exceed $20,000.00. Such Checks and Bonds Shall Be Made Payable to the Owner and Will Be Held as a Guarantee That in the Event the Bid is Accepted and a Contract Awarded to the Bidder, the Contract Shall Be Duly Executed and Its Performance Properly Secured. The Successful Bidder Shall Furnish and Deliver to the Owner a Performance and Payment Bond in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Accepted Bid Amount as Security for the Faithful Performance and Payment of the Contract. Further, the Successful Bidder Must Furnish the Policies or Certificates of Insurance Required by the Contract. In Default Thereof, Said Checks and the Amount Represented Thereby Will Be Forfeited to the Aforesaid Owner as Liquidated Damages. Bids Must Be Accompanied, in the Case of Corporations Not Chartered in New Jersey, by Proper Certificate That Such Corporation is Authorized to Do Business in the State of New Jersey. In Order to Be Able to Submit a Bid on the Project, the Bidder Shall Be Required to Be Classified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction ("Dpmc") in the Following Category: C008general Construction C060athletic Fields/tracks/courts All Bidders and Their Subcontractors Shall Be Registered With the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.48 Et Seq. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Certificate Issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act as to the Bidder and All Subcontractors. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate Issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder Must Include With Its Bid Its Own Business Registration Certificate and That of All Subcontractors. All Corporations and Partnerships Must Comply With Chapter 33, of the P.l. Of 1977, Regarding Disclosure of Partners and Stockholders. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Comply With All Provisions of Prevailing Wage Rates as Determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:2-1 Et Seq., "the Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action, N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27-1 Et Seq. No Bidder Who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders Shall Be Eligible to Bid on This Project. Each Bid Must Be Enclosed in a Sealed Opaque Envelope Bearing the Name and Address of the Bidder, Addressed to the Owner and Labeled for the Bergenfield High School Tennis Court Improvements. All Bids Shall Be Irrevocable, Not Subject to Withdrawal and Shall Stand Available for a Period of Sixty (60) Days. The Board of Education Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and Waive Any Minor Informality in the Bidding Process in Accordance With the Law if It is in the Best Interest of the Board of Education. The Contract, if Awarded, Shall Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible Bidder Whose Bid is Responsive in All Material Respects to the Bid Requirements. No Bid Shall Be Deemed Accepted Until the Adoption of a Formal Resolution by the Board of Education.
