Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Welland, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,000-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by The City to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Design-Build Services - Welland Salt/Sand Storage Facility, as further described in Section 4: Specifications and Requirements - RFP Particulars (the "Deliverables"). The City has determined that a new salt/sand storage facility is required at their main public works facility in Welland to service the winter road needs of the City. The project involves design and construction of a new salt/sand storage facility including the associated site works and a new entrance off Federal Road. The Contract will be in effect commencing April 2023 and complete by October 31, 2023. The decision of the City to extend the Contract shall be final and not subject to review. Questions regarding this Request for Proposal must be submitted in writing via email to the attention of RFP Coordinator no later than March 2, 2023 @ 3:00 PM EST. Bid values not released for publication.
