Board of Commissioners of Fulton County, Indiana that it will receive sealed bids at the office of the Furnish the following items as requisitioned by the Fulton County Highway Department Supervisor and items as listed to be furnished for other departments of County Government for the period of when such bids are awarded to December 31, 2023. All bidders will be required to attach with all said bids either a certified check payable to the Fulton County Auditor, or a bidders bond equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total bid. All bidders shall use a separate FULTON COUNTY BID FORM for each item bid. Each bid is to be made in.. The Board reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. All bids must cover quoted amounts or less. The Fulton County Commissioners may award more than one bid due to specific service of geographic areas of the county. All purchases are to be made as needed and subject to appropriation by the Fulton County Council. Bidders may reserve the right to allocate its product to its customers in a fair and equitable manner, if necessary, due to the reduction of the allocation from the source for mandatory allocation issued by the appropriate agency of the Federal Government. Bidder must state on his bid, if said bid is subject to the escalator clause or said bid shall be considered to be firm for the year 2023. Two times, at least one week apart. The second time must be at least seven days prior to opening. FULTON COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT COUNTY SUPPLIES ITEM #1- EMULSION LIQUID ASPHALT 800,000 gallons or less of the following grades of asphalt: AE-T AE-P AE-PL AE-90 AE-90S AE-150 Fog Seal Dust palliative for dust control All materials must be delivered by transport to County Road sites and made available off of transport, or at County Highway garage in County tanks, or picked up by County, or at a designated site into tanks. All material must meet INDOT specifications except AE-150 must be at a minimum penetration of 100. AE90 and AE-90S must be delivered at a minimum temperature of 155 degrees. ITEM #2-CUTBACK LIQUID ASPHALT 800,000 gallons or less of the following grades of asphalt: MC-3000 Sealing Asphalt MC-250 SC-250 CM-90 CM-150 PG 64-22 All materials must be delivered by transport to County Road sites and made available off of transport, or at County Highway garage in County tanks, or picked up by County, or at a designated site into tanks. All materials must meet INDOT specifications. ITEM #3-HAC & PLANT RENTAL 15,000 tons or less of HAC (Hot Asphaltic Concrete) A. Quote prices of Base, Binder, and Surface F.O.B. B. Quote prices per ton for contractor to lay HAC (Hot Asphaltic Concrete) with paver, roller, and laborer to finish mat. Quote price per ton. C. Plant Rental Quote The vendor will furnish plant with operator and loader personnel and county will stockpile aggregate at site and furnish liquid asphalt into vendor tanks. Quote price per ton to charge plant *Note: Item 3A shall be in accordance to type A section 402 of INDOT specifications. Item 3B shall be done in accordance with section 401.10 to 402.20 of INDOT specifications. ITEM #4-PUG MILL MIXING 15,000 Tons or Less Vendor shall furnish twin shaft portable Pug Mill Mixer plant with operators, liquid asphalt tanks and loader. Liquid asphalt and aggregate to be supplied by the county. The County will designate the site. Quote price per gallon to mix Pug Mill Mix. ITEM #5-CALCIUM CHLORIDE 50,000 gallons or less of Calcium Chloride Solution A. Liquid Calcium (42%) furnished and applied at any point in Fulton County as designated by Fulton County Highway Supervisor. B. Liquid Calcium (38%) furnished and applied to any point in Fulton County as designated by Fulton County Highway Supervisor. *Note: Vendor may split bid to furnish calcium chloride solution or to apply only or both.
