Tenders are being received by the R.M. of Wawken No. 93 for hauling approximately 20,000 cubic yards of standard road gravel. Hauling is to commence on or before July 01, 2023, and the work shall be completed on or prior to September 15, 2023. This tender includes exclusive service to the Municipality once gravelling commences. Requests for gravelling from rate-payers to be done only upon completion of gravelling Municipality roads. This tender must include the following: Pricing: a breakdown of price per cubic yard per mile of haul; minimum haul mileage; loading charge per cubic yard; any other charges and the total price per cubic yard per mile of haul. A copy of the contractors Letter of Good Standing with Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board. List of equipment/machinery to be used; insurance coverage for listed equipment and as well as operators. Truck safety certifications. Please note that speed must be reduced when meeting vehicles on the road and going past farm yards. Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Council reserves the right to reject any and all tenders. All tenders will be reviewed at 2:30pm on Thursday, March 9, 2023, and all contractors are welcome to attend.
