As of April 26, 2023. the project has been awarded with the amount of $88,402.94. Whitfield County is looking for qualified cabinet makers to furnish and install new kitchen cabinets in six facilities. Project Scope: Whitfield County is looking for qualified cabinet makers to furnish and install new kitchen cabinets in six facilities. The approved company will be responsible for all items listed in the Scope of Work Section of this document. PROPSED SCOPE OF WORK: o Wall cabinets shall be 12 in depth. They shall terminate at the ceiling. Doors shall be sized accordingly. o Base cabinets shall be 24" in depth. Consist of one drawer and one door. 36" finished height to include the top. o Corner cabinet shall have an appropriate door. o Pantry shall be custom built to match cabinets. It shall consist of three sections, with a minimum of two doors per section. o Toe kicks shall be 4" high and made of 1/2 " plywood. o All cabinets and shelves shall be 3/4 Birch plywood. Shelves shall be adjustable. o Cabinet backs may be 1/4 " Birch Plywood. o Shelves shall have solid wood edges. o Face frames shall be 1.5" wide, 3/4 " thick solid wood. o Drawer boxes shall be solid wood. Vendor shall provide thickness of wood. o Drawer fronts shall be solid wood. Vendor shall provide thickness of wood. o Drawer closure shall be soft closing mechanism. o Drawer tracks shall be full extension ball bearing construction. o Doors shall be solid wood with soft close hinges. Vendor to provide thickness of wood. o All finished wood shall be stained and sealed. Department to pick color from vendor samples. o Door/Drawers shall be shaker style. o Hinges shall concealed. o Knobs and handles shall be provided. Department to pick from vendor samples. o Openings shall be left for a stove and microwave above stove. o Dishwasher shall be on the left of the sink. o All assembled areas shall be glued and nailed. o Vendor can provide up to three options of lay out for the kitchen. o Solid Granite counter tops will be provided with cabinets. Customer shall pick from samples provided by vendor. o Sink shall be included in pricing. Sink shall be double bowl undermount style. o Installer shall provide holes for single handle style faucet with soap dispenser. o Fire Department shall provide and install faucet and all drain and water supply lines. o Fire Department shall provide and install all electrical for dishwasher, stove and microwave. o Fire Department will provide all appliances. o Price shall be one total but broken down by each individual station. o Vendor is responsible for clean up and trash removal associated with installation. o Fire Department may elect to complete demo of old cabinets as a cost savings alternative. o Cabinets at stations 1-5 are the same lay out.
