The City of Burnaby’s (“City”) intent of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to obtain Proposals from qualified and experienced consultants for preliminary design, detailed design, tendering and construction contract administration services to improve the main entrance to the Burnaby Village Museum (“BVM”) and relieve congestion of people both entering and existing through the current doors, as further detailed herein. This project is going to be designed and built in collaboration with the design team for the Burnaby Village Museum Pedestrian Bridge ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Improve the main entrance to the Burnaby Village Museum (BVM); improve way-finding and relieve congestion of people both entering and existing through the current doors, as further detailed herein. This project is going to be designed and built in collaboration with the design team for the Burnaby Village Museum Pedestrian Bridge. TIMELINE: Request for Proposal to obtain Proposals from qualified and experienced architectural consultants for preliminary design, detailed design, tendering and construction contract administration services for the project has closed. The award of the RFP, in whole or in part, is subject to the availability of funds and approval by Burnaby City Council. Further update, pending selection of a preferred proponent. Construction budget is unconfirmed. Award is subject to final approval.
