Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cambridge, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Commissioners of Cambridge are soliciting bids for roof replacements on the following City properties: Two (2) pavilions in Gerry Boyle Park at 1 Somerset Avenue, and The Department of Public Works at 1025 Washington Street. The contractor is to remove and dispose of the existing roofing and replace with 50 yr. architectural singles, color to match as close to existing color as possible; install freeze barrier along bottom and in valleys; install new drip edge and flashing if needed. Valleys are to be California style valleys. A unit price should be provided for removal and replacement of any damaged plywood or framing. For the building at 1025 Washington Street, a separate price should also be provided for replacing the northwest gutter and providing new shutters at all windows. The City of Cambridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive informalities or irregularities as it may deem best for its interest.
