Site work for an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Project scope includes but is not limited to preparation of site to receive (1) 30' x 64' metal shade structure. Fabrication and delivery of the shade structure is by the manufacturer. The site contractor is responsible for the assembly/installation of the shade structure, preparation of the site; including foundations, site paving and associated site work. New staff restroom in Bldg D. New ornamental/chain link fencing and accessibility upgrades as required for the fence installation along with all other work as shown in the project documents for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours. The Engineers Estimate for this project is: $450,000. Prime Contractor bidders shall be required to have a valid Class "A" or "B" Contractor's License. Bids must be from an appropriately licensed contractor and must be sealed. Interested bidders must be appropriately licensed. Each Bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (3) a certified check made payable to the District; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Bid Documents. Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed Contract, if the same is awarded to such bidder, and will provide the required performance and payment Bonds, insurance certificates and any other required documents. Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the District, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an admitted surety company. The Contract Documents for the Project have many unique requirements. Bidders are cautioned to carefully review all of the Contract Documents prior to submitting a Bid and to obtain pre-Bid clarification of any provision which bidder believes is ambiguous or confusing, as provided for in the Contract Documents.
