Pinkerton Sewer Line Replacement. This project is funded through the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF). This project includes approximately 4,400 Linear feet of 4-inch and 12-inch of SDR-26 PVC sewer line, manholes, valves, and appurtenances. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Athens or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Bids may be held by the City of Athens for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders' qualifications prior to the contract award. The City of Athens reserves the rights to reject any and/or all submitted qualifications and to waive formalities. This contract is to be funded, and is contingent upon release of funds, through financial assistance obtained from the Texas Water Development Board as part of the Clean Water State Revolving Fund. Neither the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the State of Texas, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees, are or will be a party to this bid or any resulting contract. Any contract awarded under this Invitation for Bids is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of federal law, including federal appropriation acts.
