Site work and paving for a civil project in Mount Tremper, New York. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project will resurface Route 28 from Hurley Mountain Road to Waughkonk Road in the Towns of Ulster and Kingston in Ulster County. The work will primarily consist of a milling the existing pavement and resurfacing the roadway surface with warm-mix asphalt. Additional work will include maintenance to the overground drainage systems. This project will extend the service life and improve the quality and safety of the pavement. This Project is Located in the Capital District Region and Includes the Following: Counties Ulster As of March 13, 2023, The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Summer 2023. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2023. Construction is expected to be completed in Winter 2023/2024. NYSDOT - Resurfacing Route 28 : Hurley Mountain Rd to Waughkonk Rd *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
