Site work for a civil project in Weston, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Questions about this Invitation to Bid shall be submitted to the Town Representative by emailing Town Representative Nancy Thiel at nancy@thieldesign.com. Bidders shall comply with State and Federal Law. Bid security is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid and shall be in the form of a certified check or cashier's check made out to the Town of Weston. A Payment Bond in the full amount (100%) of the contract price will be required. A bidder may not withdraw a bid within fourteen days of the bid opening. The Town reserves the right to negotiate with any bidder any amendments to the Town Green Improvements Contract. The project is subject to appropriation by the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject bids for any reason; to waive informalities and technicalities; and to accept the bid which the Town deems to be in its best interest, whether or not it is the lowest cost bid. The Town reserves the right to review the bids and reject all bids, or take no action, or elect not to select any bid. The Town also reserves the right to cancel the bid at any time and to reissue this or a substitute Invitation to Bid at a later date. In its sole discretion and without prejudice, the Town will award a contract to the bidder that it feels is best suited to complete the scope of services. The bid does not constitute a contract or offer of employment.
