Dillon road bridge and road widening is unique in that it involves many jurisdictions with the City of Coachella taking the lead. There are four primary parties who would need to come together and form an agreement regarding improvements and maintenance for the project, City of Indio, City of Coachella, the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians, and the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians. This project is included in the City of Coachella's FY 2022 - FY 2027 CIP Document. As of February 15, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. This project is seeking funding beyond 2024.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
