Due to the constant use of these roadways, it shall be the responsibility and obligation of the contractor to coordinate construction activities and provide any additional devices or methods necessary to ensure that the project roadway will be open to all traffic at all times and all traffic may travel the project limits safely with a minimum amount of delay. NATURE OF WORK: Principal items of work include: Project No. 38-23-02: Approximately 10.8 Miles of Micro Surfacing Construction. Preparation for construction will be by County forces at no cost to contractor The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of unit prices and quantities in the contract documents. Actual work quantities performed shall be based on availability of local funds. The work to be done is generally as shown on the plans.
