**As of April 10, 2023 , this project has been awarded to Vonage Business Inc. no awarded amount stated.** The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) and resulting contract is to solicit proposals from qualified Offeror(s), licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia, to provide Cloud Based/Managed telephones and related services in order to effectively communicate with citizens, staff and persons having business to conduct with the Rappahannock Regional Jail. Any contract resulting from this RFP shall have an initial contract period of two (2) years, and shall be renewable for three (3) additional one (1) year terms at the option of the Rappahannock Regional Jail Goods and/or services shall be provided in accordance with the requirements and Terms and Conditions identified herein. Contract pricing shall remain fixed for the initial contract period. Any adjustment to pricing for future years will be equal to or less than the unadjusted percent change of the previous twelve (12) months from December of the prior year to December of the current year as indicated in Table 1 of the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers (CPI-U): U.S. city average, other goods and services category, as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor. Should this index be superseded, the Jail reserves the right to select another appropriate index. Following the five year period, if contract is still needed, purchase orders will be issued to renew the annual maintenance for the life of the product, or until the Jail deems it obsolete.
