Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development Invitation for Bids Elevator Full Preventative Maintenance Service The Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development (LHAND), the awarding authority, invites sealed bids from general contractors for Elevator Maintenance Service for a term of three (3) years in accordance with the documents prepared by the LHAND. The project consists of full preventative maintenance service on ten (10) elevators at seven (7) housing developments identified in the contract documents. The cost is estimated at $ 110,000 for a three (3) year period. Contractor Qualifications: DCAM Certified- Elevator Service Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 149 44A-J and to the minimum wage rates as required by the M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than 5% of the base bid amount and made payable to the LHAND. Elevators will be available for inspection on by appointment only. The Lynn Housing Authority's Board of Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and make award as may appear in the best interest of the Authority. The Board of Commissioners and the Executive Director will do the notice of the award and the actual award of this contract.
